8 weeks - 3 days
2 lb. 4 -1/2 oz.
For a little dog that doesn't eat very much, she sure is putting the
weight on every day!
Just as Tommy was getting ready for church, the hydro went off. That
means 'no' church!
The doors on the underground parking can't open without electricity.
When the hydro came back on, Tommy took me to the craft store
to get some things to make a new piano for Sparkle.
Sparkle is so dark, she wouldn't show up that well on Chanda's pianos. (when
she learns to play).
So.......I got some crystal glitter and some varnish to do a 'white' piano
for her.
How did I get another piano?
I had to offer to buy a new outfit for my Granddaughter's 'Build-a-Bear.
When I'm gone the pianos will all belong to the Grandchildren anyway,
so...it's a win, win!
The first step to a great new piano : remove all the coloured
buttons...they're useless.
They were easy to take out...just had to use a pair of pliers to get rid
of them
AND...cover the piano keys so the sparkle dust doesn't get on
anything that it shouldn't.
Soon, you will see a beautiful piano...just like the ones Chanda had.
There will be a mirror behind the blue and red buttons.
The black buttons down the left side have to be drilled
out...the turquoise button
on the right side will also be drilled out. They are both hard
plastic...and equally useless to a dog.
The hole will be filled with plastic wood.
I also stopped into the dollar store today and got another
saxophone...and that
will be done in the crystal glitter also. I can't wait till she is big
enough to hold
the Sax...but have to teach her to sneeze first...so that she knows
'how' to blow
into it to make the sounds.
Sparkle is sitting on my lap while I am typing this letter.
She has been in high gear again today. She is recognizing everything I am
saying to her.
My Father used to have an expression that I heard all the time I was
growing up...
''If you throw enough 'caw caw up against a fan - some of it is bound to
stick!"
Well...I talk a lot...so she is bound to be learning 'something'...lol.
Bath day tomorrow for my little angel.
